5. Scott Hall

Crime: Erratic behaviour.

Time Served: 12 years.

The former Razor Ramon waltzed back into the WWE with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan in February 2002, long after the Invasion angle's conclusion, but their New World Order reunion was a short-lived flop.

Hogan made the most of it, starring in a classic match with The Rock at WrestleMania X8, but Nash's career was derailed by injury (because of course it was), and Hall, unfortunately, was let go soon after Insurrextion 2002, just three months after re-signing.

Reports on why Hall was cut loose vary, but all revolve around a familiar theme: those demons. Some stories have him spending most of a British tour under the influence of alcohol, while others claim he showed up to a Raw taping in a similar state. Either way, it's thought that he didn't play a role in the infamous "Plane Ride From Hell" that landed several WWE stars in hot water with management.

Years of personal turmoil followed for Hall, who wasn't able to truly rebuild his life until connecting with Diamond Dallas Page in 2013, before re-entering the WWE fold the following year, when he became a Hall of Fame inductee.
