1. Braun Strowman

WWE have found the perfect monster in Braun Strowman. Previous attempts at pushing wrestlers in this role haven’t always gone to plan (see: Vladimir Kozlov) despite Vince McMahon's fondness for giants, but he has struck gold with the former Wyatt Family man, who has improved at an alarming rate. He might have his deficiencies, but Braun is fantastic at being Braun, and it’s clear that WWE have bags of faith in him.

A loss to Roman Reigns at Fastlane is the sole blot on his copybook. Aside from that, Strowman has looked unstoppable, and pinned the company’s future franchise player at Payback last Sunday. Nobody is hotter than him at the moment, and much of this is down to the way WWE have booked him since last year’s draft.

Even if he takes another loss to Reigns, it shouldn’t take long for Strowman to rebound. He did it following Fastlane, and his immense crowd popularity should endear through future losses. That’s all speculative, however: for now, Strowman is WWE’s most consistently well-booked wrestler, and with a Universal Title shot against Brock Lesnar supposedly on the horizon, things will continue that way for the for foreseeable future
