10 Strongest Booked Wrestlers In WWE Today

2. Roman Reigns

Nothing can derail the Roman Reigns train, and for as long as Vince McMahon is around, ‘The Big Dog’ shall be Raw’s primary focus. Though his push isn’t as overbearingly dominant as John Cena’s was, major opportunities will be thrown at Reigns for the duration of his career, and when he loses, there’ll usually be a convenient excuse for it.

Braun Strowman pinned Reigns cleanly at Payback, but Roman will likely win the feud in the end. That’s not necessarily a problem, as basic pro-wrestling booking logic suggests that the babyface should always have redemption, but a huge portion of the audience will perceive it as such. A monster is only ever built-up so a face can tear them down, however, and in Braun’s case, that man is Reigns.

No matter how negative Roman’s crowd reactions get, there’s no evidence to suggest WWE will ever sway their course. His detractors might as well get used to it, because Reigns is going to be booked as one of WWE’s strongest wrestlers for a long, long time, and if rumours of him headlining WrestleMania 34 with Brock Lesnar are true, WWE might see a rebound victory over Strowman as the ideal launchpad.
