10 Strongest Booked Wrestlers In WWE Today

5. Brock Lesnar

At WrestleMania 33, Brock Lesnar finally shook Bill Goldberg from his back and became WWE Universal Champion for the first time. ‘The Beast’ is back, and while there’ll always be debate over his status as a part-time champion, his reign will at least bring some much-needed prestige to the belt. Brock’s paucity of appearances means that almost everything he does feels special, and that’s something the title desperately needs after Kevin Owens’ terrible run.

The months prior to WrestleMania are what holds Brock back from finishing higher. He looked monstrous in Orlando, and will continue to do so going forward, but Goldberg exposed him at Survivor Series, and again in the Royal Rumble. It’ll take a few solid victories before he can be called one of WWE’s top three best booked wrestlers, particularly given the strength of the full-timers ahead of him.

Brock is Brock, however. His aura is unbreakable, and even when he’s in a lull (see: last year’s Dean Ambrose feud), it’s hard to look away whenever he’s onscreen. There are very few wrestlers you can say that about these days, and for as long as Brock wants to be a wrestler, WWE will book him like Raw’s biggest star.
