Make the most of that, though, for it's a massive rarity to ever have seen the legendary Spider knocked the F out.

Said KO came courtesy of Chris Weidman, and it was all down to Silva showboating and dropping his guard. On that day, Weidman made the most of his opportunity and floored the Brazilian.

For seven years and 16 fights before that, however, Anderson Silva had regularly offered up free shots to his opponents - only for his chin to be able to take any and every shot fired at him.

In his record-setting 2,457-day reign as UFC Middleweight Champion, Silva showcased just how tough he is and just how strong a chin he has. Many may overlook that chin due to all of the spectacular - and outright easy - wins Anderson amassed at his peak, but so many of those same wins were filled with moments that highlighted how good the icon's chin was.
