10 Strongest WWE Wrestlers EVER

7. Ken Patera

John Cena Strong
WWE

Sadly, Ken Patera had about as much natural charisma on the mic as Eli Cottonwood's worst day. Physically, Ken was a beast. He was the first guy to hit the 500lbs mark on a clean and jerk competition lift, and finished third in the original World’s Strongest Man contest in 1977. Before that, he won gold at the 1971 Pan American Games.

Patera was rugged and strong for sure.

His record-setting ways have been topped since, but there's no denying the brute strength Ken had during his peak as a powerlifter. That would've come in handy during his WWF stints throughout the 1970s and 80s. It's just a pity that Patera's personality couldn't match the impressive nature of his raw physicality.

He was never the flashiest worker between the ropes either, but that can't alter the fact he was one of WWE's strongest stars ever. Put even 10% of The Rock's promo skills into Ken and he would've ruled the industry for a generation.
