10 Stunning Incidents Which Led To Wrestlers Being Fined
3. The Streak Lives, But The Wallet Empties
Over the span of the past 7 Wrestlemania supercards, The Undertaker has had memorable battles against the likes of Edge, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Triple H. The much-vaunted Streak may be over, but the sheer list of great matches 'Taker has had at wrestling's biggest event lives on. At 'Mania XXVII, The Deadmand faced The Game, Triple H in a match which would only be usurped by the same pairing one year later inside Hell In A Cell. As a straight up 'No Holds Barred' one-on-one encounter, the match in 2011 stands tall as a great example of how to piece together drama within the guidelines of the current WWE system. That was, of course, until Triple H whacked The Undertaker with a steel chair shot to the head, violating a crucial WWE ruling. Even though both are legends, and very high up in the food chain, the tandem were fined an undisclosed amount of dollars, something Vince McMahon later described as "completely necessary".
