10 Stupid Rules WWE Have Enforced

8. Tag-Team Limitations

Following his release from WWE in the Summer of 2011, David Hart Smith - the son of the legendary British Bulldog - gave an interview with Wrestletalk TV, during which he dropped news on viewers which few could be aware of. According to Smith, WWE have a strict rule in place which means babyface tag-teams can only save one another once per match, thus negating a lot of the excitement usually found in multi-man affairs. This is a strange one, why would the company limit the excitement? The tag-team division needs as much help as it can to be valuable to WWE, and get back to the glory days of tag wrestling, but silly limitations such as this one do nothing to help that fact. Tag-team wrestling, when done right, can be amongst the most exciting ways to experience pro wrestling. It's no wonder the style isn't cutting it in WWE, when there aren't many regular teams (certainly not ones who last a few years) and the promotion are enforcing regulations such as this. Why hamper your performers in this way? It doesn't make much sense.
