Having a stutter or stammer as implied by Shane McMahon in some awful and offensive pre-WrestleMania promos didn't make Braun Strowman stupid.

Having a bad report card when he was a kid, as "revealed" by Shane McMahon in a woeful pre-WrestleMania angle didn't make Braun Strowman stupid.

WWE booking, in spite of itself, made Braun Strowman stupid.

Ahead of a 'Show Of Shows' clash centred entirely around McMahon questioning Strowman's intelligence for a reason or motivation that was never, ever explored or explained, 'The Money' set about proving his half-cooked theories by faking apologies, tipping green gunge on the seven-footer (!) and fooling 'The Monster Among Men' into leaving the building and giving chase despite the two still appearing in the same f*cking frame.

McMahon the character would say it, then his Dad the owner would book it, making true all of the heel's remarks about the babyface. A Steel Cage stipulation as chosen by Strowman felt hare-brained too, considering the company's escape rules. He battered the 'Boy Wonder' on the night, but at it was telling that at no point were Shane's cutting remarks batted back with anything other than mindless violence.
