10 Superstar Returns That Could Save WWE Payback

8. Rey Mysterio

Another veteran dogged by injuries, Mysterio continues to sell loads of merchandise at WWE Live events. Therefore, the WWE would like to keep him away from retirement as long as they can, especially after the company€™s shocking shock tumble last week. Last month€™s eight month absence through a knee injury was followed by unspectacular cameos upon his return, coming in at #30 in the Royal Rumble and taking part in Wrestlemania XXX€™s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He€™s done nothing since then and there€™s been speculation that his in-ring days are coming to an end. Whether Mysterio returns as a competitor or in an ambassadorial role, he still receives a child-dominated pop from crowds and would boost Payback. Perhaps he could be used to put over Cesaro, Rusev, Barrett and Bray Wyatt. Or he could face Alberto Del Rio for the millionth time!
