10 Superstars That Hit Rock Bottom After WWE

2. Perry Saturn

For nine years, Perry Saturn went AWOL, living on the streets due to a crystal meth addiction that nearly took his life. Saturn's career began in the early 1990s. He wrestled internationally in Japan before representing ECW, WCW and WWE. Saturn is a three-time ECW World Tag Team champion, two-time WCW Tag Team Champion, one-time WCW World Television Champion, a one-time WWE European champion and two-time WWE Hardcore Champion. A torn anterior cruciate ligament sidelined Saturn from action in April 2002, and he was released from his contract soon thereafter. Perry became a user of illegal substances and began abusing them to the point where he doesn€™t remember periods of time in the WWE. His drug of choice at the time was the opium-based analgesic, Nubain. It was injectable so he would shoot it under his tongue and he became so messed up he didn't attempt to rehabilitate his knee. "I made it to my car, did so much Nubain that I passed out, and didn€™t wake up until the show was over. I never even made it down to the arena, Saturn told Oi Productions. "I lost everything in the blink of an eye, It is amazing how fast it happens.€ Saturn turned to meth, lived rough on the streets and was shot twice after claiming to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Miraculously, his dog, saved his life: "I was so worried about what would happen to her if I died that I had to hang on until after she died€. Perry made his return to the ring at Awesome Wrestling Entertainment€™s€™ Night of the Legends pay-per-view after three years of sobriety. Saturn, a granddad, still wrestles today and makes appearances at wrestling events all over America.
