10 Superstars Most Responsible For WWE's New Boom Period
2. The Usos
The success of the Bloodline Saga is down to two things: committed and exceptional booking and the performers upping their game.
Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns have already been praised for their parts in the story, but the Usos need a shout-out too. Never have they been this popular. In the ring, they are widely regarded as one of, if not, the best ever tag team in WWE history. But beyond that, they've never swam this close to the top of the card before.
That's because, for the near fourteen years that they have been WWE stalwarts, the company has never regarded tag team wrestling with the respect it deserved.
That has now changed, and we have Jimmy and Jey to thank for that.
Alongside the aforementioned stars, the duo have been one of the most engaging and interesting acts in the company. Jey Uso, who has been the target of Roman's disrespect for three years, has levelled up to the point where there is a case to be made that he dethrone the 'Head of the Table.'
As popular as they have ever been, the Usos did something that nobody could ever predict, and that was have the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships headline WrestleMania. These two are beloved by the fans, and a real driving force behind WWE's hottest period in decades.
