10 Superstars Who Never Should’ve Returned To WWE

10. Marty Janetty

WWE.comWWE.comEveryone remembers The Rockers, and everyone knows it was the tag team that would ultimately give birth to one of the most iconic stars in WWE history - Shawn Michaels. Marty Janetty was, of course, the other member of that team, and his (several) returns to the company since he left back in 1996 have been pretty disastrous. When he came back in 2005, he showed he still had it inside the ring - after he was brought back as part of the angle surrounding Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle at WrestleMania that year. Janetty wrestled Angle on an episode of SmackDown - and came mightily close to beating him. That convinced the WWE to tie him down to a deal, but by July of that year, he was gone. Janetty didn't just have one failed return in the mid-2000s, though. In February 2006 Janetty made the save for Michaels after he was being taken down by the Spirit Squad (yes, the Spirit Squad). Vince McMahon indicated he would offer Janetty a deal, but only if he would join the infamous "Kiss My Ass Club". WWE.comWWE.comHe refused, and after failing to break Chris Masters' Master Lock, he was gone again. He even came back again in 2009 to try and crack it with the WWE once more, but it didn't last long again. They say God loves a trier, but unfortunately it seems the WWE aren't as keen.
