10 Superstars Who Never Won A Title In The WWE

4. The Junkyard Dog

After a storied career working for the likes of Stu Hart's Stampede Wrestling and Mid-South Wrestling, The Junkyard Dog joined WWE in 1984. In the WWE, Dog was most notable for his interactions with younger fans. he would often bring them in the ring for a dance. He was one of the company's biggest baby-faces. Even though he was never awarded the honour of holding a championship, Dog has a meaningful win in what is considered WWE's first PPV. He won 'The Wrestling Classic Tournament', a 16 man competition that involved the likes of 'Macho Man Randy Savage, Dynamite Kid, Ricky Steamboat, Paul Orndorff and Tito Santana. Dog would beat Macho in the final. He would also have pretty big rivalries against the likes of King Harley Race, the Funk Brothers, Adrian Adonis, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and "Outlaw" Ron Bass before he left the company late in 1988. He would wrestle for WCW for a while before his untimely death in 1998 due to a single car accident. Dog, who was also the 'Best Singles Performer' at the 1986 Slammys, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.
