10 Superstars Who'd Benefit From A Return Of The World Heavyweight Championship

2. Dolph Ziggler

With John Cena, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and several other established stars out with injures at the moment, it has left WWE's main event scene nearly depleted. It's possible they wouldn't be in such a bad spot had they not halted Dolph Ziggler's momentum earlier this year and ruined any chance he had of reclaiming the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He was white-hot coming off his win in the main event of Survivor Series 2014 and Intercontinental Championship victory the following month. The aftermath included the bleached-blonde Superstar getting the pink slip from the The Authority before doing next to nothing upon his return. Not only is he nowhere near world title contention, he's probably in a worse spot than he was in two or three years ago. It's gotten to a point where fans have accepted that he'll likely never get back to chasing the championship for as long as he's with the company. He won the world title in one of the most memorable moments in recent Raw history in April 2013 never to reclaim it.
