10 Superstars Who Deserved Better At WWE WrestleMania 34

3. John Cena

It is difficult to sympathize with the franchise star of WWE and a man who has been accused of burying so many opponents over his decade-long run atop Vince McMahon's traveling circus, but John Cena has given all of himself to create magical matches and moments on the grand stage of WrestleMania and he deserved better than what he was subjected to in New Orleans.

Even if what played out made sense within the context of his story with The Undertaker.

Cena was beaten down and pinned in under three minutes, squashed by The Deadman on wrestling's biggest night.

Yes, it made sense The Deadman would unleash fury on Cena after weeks of insults but it stands to reason that Cena would at least get a little more offense in, could maybe even hit a finisher or two to really put over how driven for revenge Undertaker was.

Instead, he was buried by WWE's Phenom in a match that failed to live up to the grandeur so many hoped it would, a WrestleMania epic in which nothing was really epic and the outcome was far too quick and meaningless for the Superstars involved.
