10 Superstars Who Deserved Better At WWE WrestleMania 34

2. Charlotte

It may be difficult to suggest Charlotte somehow deserved better after becoming the first superstar to defeat Asuka in a WWE ring at WrestleMania but the moment was not hers in the way it should have been.

The win should have been enough. She should have been able to take center stage and celebrate the victory in grand fashion. Instead, the most successful main roster performer in the women's division inexplicably needed Asuka's approval in a post-match promo.

If that is not enough, her celebration was cut off by John Cena leaping the guardrail and running past her and up the ramp, his match with The Undertaker apparently on. It was disrespectful and diminished a moment in time that should have been celebrated as one of the definitive ones of the entire broadcast but was essentially an afterthought by the time the fifth match of the show was completed.

Charlotte deserved more. She deserved to be spotlighted in a similar fashion as she was when she won the Women's Championship in 2016. Instead, she was just another wrestler who won a match rather than the iconic superstar who ended the greatest undefeated streak in the history of WWE.
