10 Superstars Who Have Wrestled In The Most WWE PPV Matches

1. Kane

PPV Matches = 168 In a turn of events that has rarely happened during his time in the WWE, Kane has defeated his brother The Undertaker to claim 1st place on the list. Having been a key part of the WWE€™s Attitude era Kane is still going strong to this very day having returned to WWE television on Sunday at Night of Champions to attack the WWE Champion Seth Rollins. In his first pay-per-view main event Kane defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWE Championship at King of the Ring in 1998 to win the belt for the first and, quite surprisingly, only time in his WWE career. If Shawn Michaels is €œMr WrestleMania€, then perhaps Kane should be referred to as €œMr Royal Rumble€, because The Big Red Machine has competed in a record 16 of the 28 Royal Rumbles that have taken place (with the man behind the mask Glen Jacobs also making two more appearances on top of this as Issac Yankem and Fake Diesel). He has also eliminated more wrestlers than anyone else during these matches, compiling a total of 43 eliminations (or 42 if you don€™t count his elimination made as Yankem) and for several years he held the record for the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble having eliminated 11 Superstars in the 2001 match. Although as I€™m sure we all know, Roman Reigns defeated this record in 2014 eliminating by 12 Superstars.
