10 Superstars Who Have Wrestled In The Most WWE PPV Matches

10. Christian

PPV Matches = 100 During his two runs in the WWE from 1998-2005 and 2009-present, the Canadian Superstar Christian has been one of only 10 WWE competitors to rack up a century of PPV matches with the company. His most recent PPV appearance came last year in the 2014 Elimination Chamber when he was involved in the main event, losing in a 6-man Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after being eliminated by Daniel Bryan. Christian has had quite a few big wins throughout his 100 PPV matches, however, three of these wins seem to stand out from the others. The first of these wins came at WrestleMania 16, when Christian alongside his tag-team partner Edge captured their first ever WWE Tag-Team Championships by defeating The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz in a triple threat ladder match. This match was awarded Pro Wrestling Illustrated€™s €œMatch of the Year€ for 2000. One year later at WrestleMania X-Seven the same three teams squared off again, however this time they competed in a TLC match, a match they had popularised at SummerSlam in 2000. Edge and Christian came out of this match as Tag Team Champions once again in a match that would score the three teams involved their second €œMatch of the Year€ award. And wouldn€™t you know it, the third of Christian€™s big PPV victories also involved ladders when he defeated Alberto Del Rio in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules in 2011 to win his first ever World Heavyweight Championship.
