10 Superstars Who Will Benefit Most From WWE Draft 2016
1. Cesaro
Perhaps no Superstar will benefit more from a brand extension than Cesaro. Arguably the best wrestler to never hold a world championship in WWE, he has repeatedly delivered performances that prove he has the in-ring game to excel at the top of the card. There is one thing that has stunted his advancement in the company: a lack of opportunities.
No matter how many excellent matches he wrestles against John Cena, or how many times he takes world champions like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, or Randy Orton to the limit, Cesaro has never quite broken through the proverbial glass ceiling that has doomed him and so many of his peers to career sentences in the midcard.
Like John Bradshaw Layfield, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit before him, Cesaro has the tools necessary to main event but needs the right situation to finally emerge as a bona fide main event competitor and legitimate championship material. That situation will present itself in the form of a brand split and the placement on a roster devoid of a Cena or Reigns to stunt his development.
