There is no woman more wildly misused than Paige.

Throughout 2014 and the first-half of '15, she looked very much like the woman chosen to lead women's wrestling into the future. Dubbed 'The Anti-Diva', she championed a movement devoted to return credibility to the sport. She was not willing to sit back and become the stereotypical pretty face that rolled around the ring for a few minutes in the name of filling the women's wrestling quota for the night. She was a wrestler and she was going to make sure the world knew it.

The arrivals of Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks, the coining of the "Women's Revolution" and a starring role on Total Divas sent Paige tumbling down the card. Since dropping out of the title picture last summer, she has regularly appeared on Superstars and Main Event. Her Raw and SmackDown appearances have come in losing efforts or unimportant tag bouts.

The brand extension should change all of that. Paige will have the chance to make more frequent appearances on either of the main roster shows, plying her craft in legitimate matches rather than glorified squashes designed at getting her opponent over.
