10 Superstars Who Will Benefit Most From WWE Draft 2016

4. Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio is a four-time world champion and one of the best in-ring workers under the WWE umbrella. He is a workhorse, as he demonstrated throughout 2013 in what was his greatest year with the company. Nothing about him suggests he cannot return to that form if the opportunity presents itself.

Unfortunately, the Mexican-born competitor has been lost in the shuffle, shoved to the back of the line as the company presents new talent for fans to familiarize themselves with. The upcoming extension will provide Del Rio with a much-needed spark, his star power catapulting him to the top of whichever brand he finds himself part of.

There is no denying WWE is hurting for credible main event villains. That will only become more apparent when the company spreads its rosters thinner. Del Rio can succeed at that level. He has proven as much countless times in the past and will again - even if his character could use some freshening up in the wake of the draft.
