10 Superstars Who Will Benefit Most From WWE Draft 2016
3. Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose has struggled to maintain any and all main event pushes he has received. Some of that is his own doing but much of it is the fault of WWE Creative, who cannot consistently get behind The Lunatic Fringe. The one thing going for him though, is an undeniable popularity that will serve him well when WWE splits its roster and inevitable positions him as one of the faces of Raw or SmackDown.
Whether they want to pull the trigger on a sustained main event run or not, they will have little choice. Ambrose, one of the hardest workers in the company and as consistently popular as any other Superstar on the roster, deserves the opportunity to prove that he can be the face of his own show. Long a staple of SmackDown, perhaps he should be drafted to the Tuesday night show and put in charge of proving that he can be the top dog on the broadcast?
Only then will the company know whether they can rely on the Lunatic Fringe to deliver more consistent performances in high-profile matches and, ultimately, carry one of the top prizes in the industry as one of its elite stars.
You know, rather than promoting him to feud with Triple H and Brock Lesnar, then dropping him back down the card to work Intercontinental Championship feuds with Kevin Owens in the opening match on Raw.
