10 Superstars Who Will Leave WWE In 2017

8. The Vaudevillians

Okay, so these guys aren’t exactly at the level of Brock and Goldberg, but now it’s time to start going through more full-time talent.

The Vaudevillians are essentially dead. American Alpha beat them in about five seconds on SmackDown, and it wasn’t even treated like a big deal. Actually, what took them so long? It's crazy to think, but these were two guys that engaged in a tag title feud with The New Day not too long ago, and now they’re the most easily beatable team on the main roster. So what is WWE going to do with them?

They could ship them back to NXT and have them compete there for a bit, but that likely wouldn’t get over either. They could repackage both guys, but Gotch is still so green that it could be a long time before he’d be ready to take on a singles role. Aiden English didn’t quite get over on his own either in NXT, so it’s hard to picture another run going any better for him.

If one of the two does stick around, it's likely to be English. You could picture McMahon potentially finding something comedic for him to do, but he may not think it’s worth his time at all. Sadly for these two young wrestlers, the show may be over in 2017.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
