10 Superstars Who Will Leave WWE In 2017
7. Jack Swagger
We the people think that Jack Swagger deserves better, but management does not agree. Any thought of him coming back to the main event is long, long gone. He’s lost his eagle, he’s lost his manager and he’s lost any credibility he had in the ring. It’s time to hit the road Jack. It’s not you, it’s WWE.
When he recently jumped from Raw to SmackDown, fans thought that he may finally get a little bit of a push again. It wasn’t meant to be. After one brief (and well...quite bad) promo, he was sent right into the arms of Baron Corbin where he ate defeat. Now he’s nowhere to be seen.
Even though he’s only 34, the amount of work WWE would have to put in to just making Swagger seem somewhat credible likely wouldn’t be worth it. In the next year either WWE is going to have to let him go, or Swagger should just walk away. Whatever money he could make on the indy scene is already being damaged, and it’s only going to get worse the longer WWE continues to treat him so poorly.
