10 Superstars WWE Creative Have Completely Abandoned

8. The Bludgeon Brothers

There's a chance Luke Harper and Erick Rowan may not even be going by The Bludgeon Brothers name on SmackDown anymore. Already, the new gimmick looks like it has been scrapped by creative after just one UK house show appearance. Quite how they managed to figure out the characters wouldn't work from that is anyone's guess.

Harper and Rowan were doing exactly nothing on television before being repackaged. A new gimmick made sense, but it's been abandoned before both men have the chance to get it over on TV. If that handful of vignettes and a live event match are all they're getting in the new role, what was the point in the overhaul?

Rowan isn't as talented as Harper inside the ring, so lord knows what WWE will have in mind for him if they split the team again. Right now, the pair are better off together. Individually, it's hard to see either finding a good role on SmackDown.
