10 Superstars WWE Creative Have Completely Abandoned

3. James Ellsworth

Cast your minds back to when James Ellsworth was interacting with Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles every week on SmackDown. That was never going to last, and he was soon relegated to filling the manager role for 'Miss. Money In The Bank' Carmella. After doing well with everything WWE handed him, Ellsworth should be sitting pretty. He isn't.

The future is uncertain for poor Jimmy. Post-Carmella, it's difficult to see where he might fit in on SmackDown over the next few months, and it seems Ellsworth will be taking a break from TV until there's something else for him. If James were smart, he'd be the one pitching ideas to creative.

Ellsworth fits snugly into the role of manager. He looks different to everyone else on the roster, can cut a decent promo and isn't afraid to look like a moron. Nobody who has watched SmackDown over the past 12 months should want Ellsworth to disappear, but he will unless the writers come through for him.
