10 Superstars Who WWE Made Suffer In 2014

10. Cesaro

€œStone Cold€ Steve Austin has long been a fan of Cesaro and makes it well known on pretty much every episode of his podcast, so when he had Vince McMahon on the show, it was one of the first things he brought up. Austin asked McMahon what he thought Cesaro was missing, and Vince€™s answer was somehow shocking and unsurprising in equal amounts.
€œHe doesn't quite have the charisma, doesn't quite have the verbal skills as well. It may be because he€™s Swiss, I don€™t know, in terms of European style. Those are the big things that he€™s lacking.€€œHe€™s an extraordinary physical talent, extraordinary, but at the moment, and hopefully he€™ll get it he lacks it.€
Cesaro had a stellar first quarter of the year, with a starmaking performance in the Elimination Chamber, and his unforgettable battle royal win at WrestleMania. From there it seemed like a face turn was imminent, but instead he was unsuccessfully packaged with Paul Heyman and did away with the incredibly over Giant Swing maneuver. Vince McMahon might say Cesaro€™s failings are on Cesaro, and that he fails to connect with the crowd, but it€™s simply not true. Fans have been ready to cheer Cesaro all year now, all he needs is the faith of the office, and WWE have a bonafide megastar on their hands.
