If you listen to any interview with Hornswoggle, you can tell that hes proud of being a midget wrestler, and is proud of the history surrounding the niche aspect of the business. Hes also the person to tell you to call it midget wrestling and he can tell you the history of WWEs brightest stars like Max Mini or Little Haiti. Hornswoggle holds the distinction of being the longest tenured midget wrestler in WWEs history, but this year his role in the company has been to serve as the antagonist to Los Matadores mascot El Torito. As such, Hornswoggle has been reduced to dressing up in all manner of costumes in order to be Toritos nemesis. At first he became the fourth member of 3MB, but even then they were offensively referred to as 3 and a half MB. Following that feud, he briefly became friends with Torito as La Vaquita (the little cow) and dressed in a matching costume, before teaming up with Heath Slater and Titus ONeil as The Gator and dressing in an alligator costume. In his appearance on Talk Is Jericho, Hornswoggle did admit to being somewhat jealous of Torito and speculated what it meant for his spot in the company. While its a shame WWE arent more progressive or creative, Hornswoggles days might be numbered once WWE runs out of animal costumes to dress a twenty-eight year old man in.
