10 Surprise Comeback Predictions For WWE Raw's 25 Year Celebration

7. Jeff Hardy

His sabbatical may have expedited Matt Hardy's recent awakening, but Jeff Hardy's injury-related absence as only made the heart grow fonder for the 'Charismatic Enigma's return as a singles star.

His major solo runs in both 2008 and 2009 ended in Hardy awash with scandal due to the drug and alcohol problems he was experiencing at the time, but if all his recent chatter is to be believed, he's now as a clean as a whistle and sharp as a thistle alongside his reinvigorated brother.

Older, far more experienced, but no less weathered as a top star in the eyes of the WWE fanbase, the timing could be perfect for Hardy's on-screen return even if a full-time schedule remains a few months out of reach. The Royal Rumble match offers short enough stints that the former WWE Champion may be able to enter himself if only for a brief appearance should he feel fit enough to foreshadow his proper return. WrestleMania season is particularly ideal for Hardy and WWE alike, should he be able to get back to full fitness in time.
