10 Surprise WWE Returns That Are About To Happen

9. Chelsea Green

ROH

Recent reports say WWE top brass has "significant interest" in rehiring Chelsea Green. That'd be a good thing, 'cause Chelsea never really got a fair shake on the main roster before being injured then cut in April 2021; she was still recovering from a nasty wrist break the previous November.

Her second chance awaits.

Post-WWE, Green went on to work for both ROH and IMPACT Wrestling. She's had more injury problems, but Hunter's interest means he doesn't view that as a major barrier for negotiations. Perhaps 'The Game' just thinks Chelsea, who was tipped for the top prior to being released, deserves another crack at it.

Presumably, Green wouldn't be too interested in starting all over again in NXT. A Raw or SmackDown berth could tempt her back into the WWE mix though, if only to right the wrongs of her first stint in the promotion.

She'd also feel totally new to most fans at this point.
