Absent since the 5 February episode of Raw, Jason Jordan has apparently mounted a full recover from his neck injury, and is now ready to return to television. Dave Meltzer noted in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it is now just a case of creative finding something for him to do. Given the extreme effort they put into trying to get him over as Kurt Angle's son, the former American Alpha man probably won't be sitting on the shelf for too long, so expect him to show up sometime in the near future.

A Raw comeback is likelier, but Extreme Rules can't be dismissed entirely. If he is ready to go, WWE could conceivably usher him back at any point, so watch out for him on Sunday night.

Perhaps a low-key appearance in a backstage segment would be the best way to bring him back anyway. Jordan's transition from tag wrestler to singles act was rough, and few fans will be frothing with anticipation for his comeback. A softy-softly approach, rather than jamming JJ down the audience's throats again, could be what's needed to ease him back in, and a quiet Extreme Rules appearance would allow for that.
