10 Surprising Things We Learned From 'WWE 365: Kevin Owens'

5. 'No'

And so to the 'Show Of Shows' in a section of the show that starts with a cross-car exchange dripping in pained irony. Noticing AJ Styles in the car alongside him, Owens gets 'The Phenomenal One's attention before also spotting Charlotte in the back.

With all the glib sarcasm of his on-screen persona, Owens asks Styles to 'tell them why we should have been in WrestleMania main events', adding a pained 'remember when we were champions, that was the best! We'll all be champs again.' It was one of the most honest moments of the entire production.

Though varnished with charm and good humour, 'KO's anger bubbled under at his place on the card. He spoke of the match with Jericho being 'surreal' but foreshadowed the end result by refusing any further enthusiasm.

A flash-forward to the post-match following hand-picked portions of the match itself shone a light on the fragility of office-talent relations for those that still have the bravery to cultivate them.

Showered and changed and back at the Gorilla Position, Owens senses a frosty atmosphere and asks a perturbed Vince McMahon if 'we're good'. With all the mixed anger and disappointment of an annoyed parent, Vince merely replies, 'No'.

The exact breaking of Ralph Wiggum's heart wasn't more pinpointed than this.
