10 Most Surprising WWE Moments Of 2014

9. Hulk Hogan Returns To WWE

Hulk Hogan is like a cockroach. While that sounds like an insult, it certainly isn't. It is a testimony to his ability to survive in the wrestling business for over 30 years and constantly position himself in marquee spots. After a disastrous stint in TNA that saw him and Eric Bischoff do absolutely nothing to help the fledgling company, many thought that Hogan had finally had his final run in the wrestling business. By going to TNA, most people thought he had burned his final bridge with Vince McMahon and the Hulkster wouldn't be seen in New York anytime soon. They were wrong. Hogan returned after a 7 year absence and, much like his return in 2002, he was greeted like he was returning from exile, not a competing promotion. Hogan returned to host WrestleMania XXX from the Superdome in New Orleans and was made part of a legendary segment featuring himself, Steve Austin, and the Rock. He returns periodically to shill the WWE Network (only $9.99!) and Hogan will always remain a permanent part of the WWE family.
