When Brock Lesnar challenged John Cena for the world title at Summerslam, many fans weren't sure what to expect. Yes, it had been rumored for months that Lesnar was going to get a run with the belt but Lesnar was only a part-time wrestler, would WWE really put the title on someone who only appeared on television once a month? At Summerslam, we got our answer and it was loud and clear. Brock Lesnar completely dominated John Cena in one of the most unique main events in history. Cena barely got an offensive maneuver in during the match, instead suffering 16 German suplexes from the former UFC heavyweight champion of the world. Lesnar battered Cena until he was a quivering mass of Jell-O and pinned him to win the WWE world title. Fans who were expecting to see a beating of John Cena were not let down and Brock Lesnar was back on top of the wrestling world.
