10 Tag Teams WWE Should Reform

With a growing feeling that WWE’s tag team division is dying, what teams could reform to save it?

After seeing Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins capture the Raw tag team gold, many wonder what the plan is for the division going forward. We got a glimpse into that with Raw’s tag team turmoil. Rather than allowing an actual team to win, we once again had a thrown together group of singles competitors coming out victorious. Doesn’t bode well for the actual teams now does it?

The weirdest part about this is that the WWE tag division is in such a shambles you’d think they’d be looking to add more teams to legitimize it, not create pairings on the spot that are confusing and nonsensical. Yet, The Street Profits are relegated to narrating the show while tag team wrestling is pushed further and further out of the spotlight.

Clearly the tag division is in need of help, and even more clearly Vince thinks the current teams aren't cutting it. So it stands to reason that with a potential draft coming, we could see some old tag teams resurface. This division desperately needs a shot of adrenaline to stay relevant.

After all, we don't need another hastily created Glorious Goobers (don't try to steal the name, Vince, its a joke) duo like Ziggler and Roode.

10. The Bludgeon Brothers (Rowan & Harper)

So if Rowan did try to murder Roman, but Daniel Bryan is actually innocent, then who could his accomplice be?

All signs point to the name Luke Harper. Or maybe just Harper and the "Luke" is silent.

Regardless of their individual names, the pair were making quite a name for themselves as The Bludgeon Brothers and before that as part of the Wyatt Family as well. Capturing NXT and SmackDown tag team gold, they are more accomplished than most in the division. Remember they beat both The Usos and The New Day for the belts at WrestleMania 34, the two teams that are most consistently put on television now.

After all, there needs to be something to do for Harper now that his release was denied and his contract has been extended for another six months. Or at least you would hope there would be now that rumors are saying he is back on the road with WWE again.

And with Rowan seemingly at odds with Daniel Bryan (who slapped the p*ss out of him) after being tag champions not long ago, this could be the best case scenario for the large red-haired metal fan. Especially with WWE throwing together groups and tag teams every week on a whim now. It doesn’t really further either up the card, but they would probably rather team together than let WWE’s creative decide their fate.

At least it's better than making Rowan join the raid as the third Viking Raider, right?
