10 Tag Teams WWE Should Reform

9. The Colons

So this one is cheating just a bit. The Colons have not been disbanded (although the members have changed once before oddly enough, sorry Carlito) at all as of yet. But who would know? They haven't had a match since a dark match all the way back in February. Before that career highlight occurred, they hadn't been seen since August 2018.

Part of this could be due to them assisting Primo’s father and Epico’s uncle, Carlos Colon, with the World Wrestling Council. But with the roster so devoid of teams, it may be time to call them back into the WWE.

The nice thing about this is that because they have been gone for a while now, this will feel like a fresh pair of faces whilst still being recognizable to most fans. No need to make them run through jobber tag teams for weeks on end to establish their credibility.

In general, that is a pretty bad trope that WWE should end and plays a large part as to why we see less than a handful of teams at a time. And letting there be more teams who can actually put over talent by losing is the only way to cure that epidemic.

The Colons are a great tag team with a wealth of wrestling history associated with their individual names as well as their family's name. They may never be huge singles stars at this point in their careers, but utilizing them to put on quality matches to put over other teams would be a welcome addition to the barren division.
