Muhammad Hassan was always going to encounter trouble in his short-lived WWE career, given the clumsily offensive character he was saddled with. In what could have been a complex, multi-layered gimmick, he was instead unfortunately reduced to a stereotypical evil foreign heel. However, Hassan certainly didn't help his own popularity behind the curtain either, clashing with Eddie Guerrero over the latter's use of the camel clutch - a tribute to his legendary father Gory. Although Eddie reportedly handled the incident well, the rest of the locker room certainly did not, and Hassan was suddenly the target of major discontent from all sides. By way of apology, he apparently bought a round of shots at a hotel bar. Every worker there is said to have poured their shot on the floor, a huge show of disrespect and rejection.
