10 Talents TNA Totally Dropped The Ball With

6. Lance Hoyt

Some call him TNA€™s version of Test. He had the look, was good on the mic, and was an entertaining wrestler, especially for a man his size. Hoyt could be quick and swift, and powerful and strong. Very few have had that €œmain event€ look more than Hoyt. He would accomplish some success in TNA as a two-time Tag Team Champion along with partner Kid Kash. He eventually broke out on his own and for some reason TNA never used him at the level he should have been used. He would get put into the Rock €˜n€™ Rave Infection with Christy Hemme and, another wasted talent, in Jimmy Rave. Playing Guitar Hero guitars and being 3MB before 3MB, Rock €˜n€™ Rave Infection was a team that never quite hit the right note. Hoyt would leave TNA and sign with WWE where he would again get misused. Cutting his hair and shaving his beard, he would be paired with Curt Hawkins. The duo seemed to wrestle exclusively on Superstars and never gained any traction. He now teams with Davey Boy Smith Jr. as the Killer Elite Squad and if you want to see the power this man has, go watch the chokeslam he does at Wrestle Kingdom 9. Hoyt easily could have been World Champion in TNA, very easily in fact. The guy had everything it took, but was just never given anything.
