10 Teams Who Could Dethrone The Usos As WWE Tag Team Champions
5. RK-Bro
There is still life in another RK-Bro run.
As mentioned earlier, The Usos were responsible for the kayfabe write-off TV of Randy Orton, who had been pencilled in as a SummerSlam opponent for Roman Reigns. Unfortunately, a back injury ruled him out and there has been some worrying talk that the 'Apex Predator' might not make it back to the ring at all.
If he does, and The Game doesn't fancy milking nostalgia, then a reunion with Matt Riddle would make the most sense. And my word, does Riddle need it right now.
After being elevated through his rivalries with Reigns and his former Shield brethren, Seth Rollins, the 'Ultimate Bro' has been floundering. The semi-serious main eventer-in-waiting has reverted to an irritating, goofy midcard act and it's a worrying decline.
Logic would dictate, if Orton can return, then the 14-time World Champion would turn on Riddle and create a pretty heated rivalry. Or, if WWE want to capitalise on the fact that he became the best hot tag in the business, another run with the tag belts for RK-Bro would be the way to go.
Not only does Riddle need it, but it would be a nice comeuppance for The Usos for their actions. Randy Orton holds grudges, that much has been established over his two decades in the company.
