5. The Hardy Boyz

Given the re-emergence of The Dudley Boyz on the WWE scene, the mind of many a fan instantly switched back to their legendary battles with Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz.

With the Canadian duo now retired, that rules them out of any further action, but Matt and Jeff are fair game – especially with how TNA is seemingly walking around like the equivalent of a zombie who hasn’t quite realised it’s dead yet.

The rumours of The Hardys returning to Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut have been picking up speed over the last few months, and much like Bubba and D’Von, the return of Team Xtreme (bar Lita) would put a renewed focus on the tag team division.

In fact, a Hardys return would cause even more of a storm than the Dudleys considering how hugely popular the North Carolina natives are.
