10 Terrible Booking Decisions From WWE Survivor Series 2016

8. Keeping The Cruiserweights On Raw

Leading up to Survivor Series it was rumored that the entire cruiserweight division would be making the shift over to Tuesday nights, and the stipulation of the Survivor Series match between The Brian Kendrick and Kalisto was booked to facilitate that.

The high-flying division is floundering on the flagship show, and putting them on SD where they can hopefully be better utilized seemed like the obvious choice. The “pure wrestling” fans are gravitating toward the blue brand and the cruisers would likely be better served there.

All those rumors were either completely false or WWE changed its mind at the last minute because Baron Corbin interfered costing SmackDown the match and the entire division. It works for Corbin’s character but it hurts a division that was in desperate need of a shot in the arm, and also denies SmackDown some needed additional talent.
