10 Terrible Wrestling Matches You MUST Watch!

6. The Chamber Of Horrors (WCW Halloween Havoc 1991)

How does one contrive to force such generational talents as Sting, The Steiner Brothers, Vader, Scott Hall, and Mick Foley to labour through one of the best worst matches in professional wrestling history at the same time? Chamber of Horrors, baby.

A heavily-gimmicked steel cage crammed with coffins and other weaponry, the Chamber's centrepiece was an electric chair. A team could only claim victory by simulating the controlled execution of somebody from the opposite side. Suspending disbelief was impossible from the moment the bout was first announced, even in 1991, meaning that in order to enjoy this objective hunk of trash, you had to let your mind enter trainwreck mode.

An amateurish production was made worse by the dodgy headcam worn by the referee, though the finish is what really makes this an all-timer. Cactus Jack, intending to fry Rick Steiner, accidentally electrocuted Abdullah the Butcher, who flopped around like Finn Balor's Demon earlier this year. Observe, too, the nonchalance dripping from the other wrestlers as they shuffled around the ring, unsure of what to do with themselves while Abby was burnt to a crisp before their eyes.
