10 Terrible Wrestling Moments (Saved With One Genius Fix)

7. WWE's Burial Of Sting

The terrible moment:

Vince McMahon has (or had) a fatal flaw. Before losing the plot altogether, he once had the ability to devise a fabulous storyline premise before realising, alas, it might make it seem that he didn't possess an eleven-inch cack after all. The introduction of the Sting character and the purpose behind his jump was inspired: the vigilante had watched on from the shadows as Triple H's Authority had rivalled even the nWo as a toxic presence. He was the anti-venom ready to swoop down from the rafters and burn down the empire. From the ashes, a meritocracy would rise.

Except this framed the worked version of WWE as bad, so in a sharp narrative pivot, Triple H represented the Fed at 'Mania 31 and Sting, who couldn't possibly win, represented WCW.

He lost.

F*ck off.

The genius fix:

At Survivor Series, Dolph Ziggler got over, again, in a great performance as the sole survivor. Why couldn't he team with Sting to take on HHH and a midcard d*ckhead of his choice to A) tell the story as it should have been told and B) get the new generation of talent over?

This however would involve WWE accepting that WCW used to be good, pushing a smaller feller that fans liked, and treating tag team wrestling as something that wouldn't disgrace the precious WrestleMania stage.
