10 Terrible WWE Reinventions

3. Emma > Emmalina

Emma Emmalina
WWE

Emmalina may well have been the greatest ever transformation in the history of WWE. Sadly, we only saw her Stars in their Eyes cameo for all of fifteen seconds before she vanished again, to return as her pre-evolved form down the line.

Safe bet is that it wouldn't have been, though. The company, unlike your average Dixon's employee, simply doesn't know the meaning of the phrase lingua in maxillam, and it's more than probable Emma's supermodel makeover was to be taken entirely at face value - ridiculous, gibberish name and all.

That's assuming it wasn't just an elaborate rib at the Australian's expense, owing to her unpopularity amongst the hierarchy. In any event, a shelf life of less than a minute has to go down as a massive failure. Emma, not surprisingly, was let go by the company later that year.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
