10 Terrifying Wrestling Moments That Still Scare Adults

9. The Ultimate Warrior's WrestleMania VI Build Promo

In hindsight, it's no wonder the Ultimate Warrior didn't get over as the WWF's top babyface in 1990.

This might have something to do with him cutting the most sinister f*cking promo imaginable shortly before he was to assume the role, the dumb bugger.

Hulk Hogan reacting like God himself had just purchased the last remaining bottle of sun tan lotion before a visit to the beach with his daughter didn't much help. In the post-match, he conveyed the idea that he wasn't bested but just desperately unlucky.

The very best promo the Warrior ever cut, nonetheless, this was awesome because it stood in chilling contrast to his usual demented gibberish. Everything he said was as decipherable as it was disquieting.

Making awful, otherworldly sounds, as if he'd just manifested from an alternate dimension unthinkable in its evil, Warrior created a scene in which he compared the challenge in front of his opponent to a suicide mission. Was Hogan willing to "dispose" of the pilots? Was he willing to assume the controls?

Was he willing to SHOVE THAT CONTROL INTO A NOSEDIVE, HULK HOGAN?

That quiet/loud dynamic remains arresting in its power.

Still doesn't make the top 100 list of evil things Warrior ever said, which is...impressive?
