8. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Shawn Michaels

Most fans thought Shawn Michaels was done when he left active competition in 1998, but four years later, he did the unthinkable - he came back better than ever before. The athleticism and charisma were still there, but HBK had earned a genuine likability that made his matches even easier to get invested in emotionally.

That Michaels - the artist who made the ring his canvas between 2002 and 2010 - would make the perfect foil for new NXT star Shinsuke Nakamura. Though both men would be babyfaces, the interplay between them would be stunning.

It's hard to imagine two wrestlers who can better command a crowd from inside the squared circle, and putting them together would create a rabid audience.

Nakamura's strong style-influenced offense would look devastating when sold by HBK, giving fans a heightened level of concern for the three-time WWE Champion. Likewise, his comebacks would be even more impressive after taking such a beating.

And what would happen when Michaels fired off a Sweet Chin Music just as Nakamura charged in with a Boma Ye...?
