6. First WrestleMania Undertaker Worked After Losing
WrestleMania 31 was memorable for many reasons, but one of the most poignant revolved around The Undertaker. For the longest time, the main crux of the show had been dedicated to a match during which 'Taker's much-vaunted WrestleMania winning streak was in jeopardy. 'Mania 31 was different, because there was no 'streak' to speak of for Undertaker to defend. This created a weird and unique scenario for the man, as well as his opponent for the big event. Bray Wyatt has a similar mystique to him that Undertaker has long possessed, but he wasn't fighting for much at WrestleMania. In essence, it was a lose-lose situation. If Wyatt had won, he wouldn't have looked like anything particularly special, because Brock Lesnar had beaten him to the punch the previous year. By winning, The Undertaker didn't gain much either. It was truly a strange experience to watch Undertaker work a match at 'Mania with so little on the line. If the winning run was always going to end, there had to be a match afterwards which would be 'Taker's first without the streak on the line. 2015 represents the only first in that category, and it will never happen again.
