10 Things 2015 In Wrestling Will Be Remembered For
5. Potential End Of Daniel Bryan's Career
There are still questions surrounding what the future holds for one Daniel Bryan. Earlier in 2015, he captured the WWE Intercontinental Title in a multi-man Ladder Match at WrestleMania 31. Generally speaking, the bulk of fans left the show delighted, safe in the knowledge that they'd be seeing some cracking matches for the long-overlooked title going forward. Health problems would stop this from happening, robbing everybody - not least Bryan - of some magical in-ring moments. Dejected, Daniel vacated the Intercontinental Title on an episode of Monday Night Raw in May. He hasn't been seen inside a wrestling ring working a match since, which is unfortunate. Even more tragically, there are no guarantees that the talented performer will ever be back in a WWE ring for that purpose. If 2015 does turn out to be the last WWE year to include a Daniel Bryan match, it will be a sad end to an awesome career. Rising up through the ranks on the independent scene, Bryan also forced his way to the top of the biggest company in the industry, and it's sad to think his career might have faded away rather than burned out brightly.
