1. Additional Examples Of Ways He Feels He Was Done Wrong
CM Punk closes out the podcast with a couple of instances where he felt he was wronged by the WWE, costing him money and endorsement opportunities. The organizers of Wizard World (a large comic book convention) reached out to him and wanted him to make a promotional appearance and sign some autographs, so he went to the office to request those dates off from house shows. WWE instead gave the Wizard World dates to other people and denied him that payday. "Is there a kickback for me?" he asked. "I feel like if I don't ask, if I don't raise a stink about it, then I'm a bad business man and now they think that they can just walk all over me and do whatever the f*ck they want." It happened a second time when he was scheduled for Wizard World Nashville and got an alert on his phone that he was being replaced by Daniel Bryan. Neither WWE nor the convention had told him about it beforehand, and he was angry because the appearance was going to pay him $20,000 for four hours of sitting in a chair. The reason WWE gave was that he was needed on the Mexico tour because it wasn't doing well, so Punk told them his check for that tour better be at least $20,000 to make up for it, but instead he was only given $5,000. He brought the check to television and demanded they fix it Punk said someone on Twitter will say it's a lot of money and he would love to work for Vince McMahon for $5,000. "That's exactly who he wants to have work for him, so go f*cking work for him. I know what the f*ck I'm worth. Know how I know what I'm worth? Because Wizard World was going to pay me twenty thousand f*cking dollars to sit in a chair for four hours." He also details a huge sponsorship opportunity he missed out on with Slim Jim who was intent on turning him into the next Randy Savage, but instead WWE passed that on to Rey Mysterio, Big Show and Eve Torres, and the video game company wanting Punk on the cover while WWE wanted Sheamus instead. CM Punk finally closed the podcast by thanking the fans who've supported him throughout his career, and suggests that if you're offended by anything he's said you may need to lighten up and find a hobby. What did you think of part 2 of his podcast interview with Colt Cabana? Do you take his side or are you riding with WWE on this one? And is this the closure that his fans have been hoping for?
